    Default honey infused syrup??

I had a new cocktail this weekend - the Millennium - a combination
of Becherovka (Czech bitters) lemon juice and honey infused sugar
syrup. It was served in chilled cordial glass. It might not have
been full size since it was after dinner and a complimentary gift to
the table. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. It was
    really nice combination of flavors.

Amazingly, I have bottle of Becherovka that was given to me by a
Czech friend's mom. I haven't opened it yet, but I might be soon, if
I can figure out honey infused sugar syrup. I might just make a
sugar syrup and just add some honey to it.

    I am all for experimentation.

I would just take a really mild honey (like clover) and thin it with a
    little hot water.

Becherovka, eh? That stuff's poison. Clove-flavor, as I recall. I
    almost missed a train because of it. . . . I don't know about a
honey-infused sugar syrup, only about the evils of Becherovka. It's
considered "a woman's drink" and sipped to aid digestion. Bitters?
Huh, I never heard that association before.

It was a nice drink. A little bitter, a little sweet, and a little
    lemony.
The waitress said it was bitters. I had to look it up.

It was a very small cocktail. More like a shot. I think you could do
some serious damage with just a couple...even miss a train.

Oh, yeah. Especially since after the first one or two they don't taste
    so bad. WhatthehellwasIthinking?

Are you referring to those Manhattens?

That was when I was single. :-) Manhattan by Rob tastes good at the
first sip. Becherovka is nasty. Until the third sip.
