Happy back Atcha Stu! My brother in law is cooking the main part of the
feast and my sister will cook too. We'll be eating at the apt. of a very
close friend of theirs.
I'm fixin' to get off the computer and make a couple of side dishes to
take over. Insalata Caprese with fresh herb and caper infused Balsamic
vinegar, and some grilled baby Calabaza squash (aka Mexican Zucchini).
I'll treat those with a little grape seed oil, dill weed and ground
lemon peel with white pepper.
I started making my own salt free lemon pepper when my local HEB quit
carrying it again! It's less expensive anyway and I can vary the mix as
I see fit.
I'm also going to cut and chop some fresh garlic chives from my patch,
bag them up and take them over with me. May as well use some of them up
before they freeze back for the winter! :-d
