And my wishes to Down Under, too - as well as to everyone up here in
the northern hemisphere.

Yeah, we beat the rest of the 'world' (ie, the USA) to the punch every year,

I just wish that everyone........ doesn't drink and drive, tries to act like
a reasonable thinking adult around a bonfire with booze, doesn't act like a
dickhead on a balcony after a gutful of piss, doesn't think he's Mark Spitz
and can do 'Shark Alley' in record time........ and I wish all mothers will
finally learn that babies don't have a gag reflex until they are about 12
months of age, so they should put their babies to sleep on their *STOMACH*!!!
Other than that, yeah, what Rhonda said.

Well, the Kiwis beat us by a couple of hours, so it's all swings and
roundabouts.

I thought about it afterwards......... that's only half the problem.
The other half is the dimwits who drug and drive.

Well, there's lots of wishes for the New Year so I probably left out a few.
I think I did quite well considering I'd consumed most of a bottle of a
bubbly by that stage.:-)
