I've tried the ones at Six Flags here, and they're OK. Not fantastic,
but no worse than anything else at that theme park.

EZ Larry,
I never knew they were so popular! Been to Dizzyland countless times and
never heard of them!
Of course I've never had a funnelcake here in Pennsylvania either! Another
crowd pleaser, unbeknownst to me!
Best,
Andy

NO...the idea came from Silver Dollar City and Dollywood. They are
ok. The funnel cakes are better!! Love that deep fried grease
dough.

Don't know about Disney[Land or World] but turkey smoked drumsticks have
been a southern thang for a long time. You don't have to go to a fair or a
theme park to find them.
I haven't looked for them since I've been in SC but back in the Memphis area
they sell smoked turkey drumsticks, or the whole smoked legs (drumstick &
thigh) and smoked wings at the grocery store. I used to (occasionally) add
smoked wings to a pot of turnip greens. That's if I didn't use a smoked ham
hock
Gawd, it's been a long time since I made a pot of greens like that. Finish
with a splash of white vinegar and some hot sauce. Don't ask me why, it
just works.

I like the smoked turkey drumsticks at Disney World and Six Flags.
They taste good, and eating them makes you feel like Fred Flintstone.

Turnip greens with bits of turnips attached (which is odd since I don't care
for turnips otherwise)... mustard greens, collards...

Funny how you went on a hunt for "barbeque" in Kansas City but never tasted
greens (smoked meat or not) as a side dish. Did the restaurant offer beans
as a side?
Look in the grocery store for Trappey's brand canned jalapeno beans. Not a
thing wrong with them, except that these BBQ joints buy them by the gallon
from Hardins-Syscao Foods and pass them off as their own beans.

Also available at Six Flags, and also every state fair I've been to.
