God wants me to have Sriracha
Otherwise He wouldn't have blasted the tree that resulted in the power
being off until 1 AM yestarday and the phones and cable not being up
until this afternoon.
Came home yesterday to no power, went down to the mall and checked out
showtimes, just missed them all, next show in two hours, had some dinner
and it didn't kill enough time. So went down to Hartford to see "The
Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" (been wanting to but something kept
coming up), arrived with 40 minutes to kill, remembered that I was 3
miles from the Chinese market and needed Sriracha, went down there and
picked up the big bottle for 2.49, and got a can of real Chinese mustard
while I was about it, got back to the theater with 10 minutes to
showtime.
Got home, still no lights, went to bed. At 1 AM the lights came on and
woke me up. No phone though. Still dead when I got up. On the way out
in the morning I noticed that the cops still had the street where the
tree had been down blocked. This aft when I got home though it was
clear and everything was working.
So got Sriracha thanks to that tree being down. God must have wanted me
to have it.
Hmm, was wondering what to eat tonight--tacos, with much sriracha.

That's potent stuff!!!
Have you had it before?
First time, I put it on a burger like ketchup. A meal killer!
I gave it one more try by the drop and it was still too much. I tossed
it out.
It was a combination of the hot chilies and heavy vinegar base.
Now Chinese hot mustard is good stuff but not on tacos.

*Chuckle* can you say "Religion, aleatory element in."?

Be very, very, careful, that stuff is hot! A few drops in a big pot of
rice is enough for me to enjoy the flavor it adds but its very easy to
use too much, at least imo.
I now buy the "Louisiana Style" Red Rooster hot sauce. Its not as hot
and tastes better imo. I wouldn't hesitate to sprinkle it on top of a
filled taco, but i would never do that with the sriracha.
Though i did notice, if i cooked the sriracha, with other spices & soy
sauce, garlic, and/or sesame oil & etc. with meats, veggies or rice, it
seemed to diminish the heat and added more flavor (from being heated)
than if used straight out of the bottle when it only produces heat and
very little actual flavor, imo.

Im not saying where or how, just that its not necessarily the most
immediate orifice and orientation people tend to jump to the immediate

There is hardly any vinegar in sriracha. And you can't get a
"drop" out of the bottle. It's not a liquid that "drops".
You've never had it, have you.

Yeah, you can. I jes got a single drop. In fact, it's like ketchup,
in that you should shake it first or you will get a lotta liquid on
the 1st squeeze.

"Heavy vinegar base"? That's not sriracha. It has *some* vinegar, but a
fairly minor amount. Have you considered making your own sriracha? You could
adjust the vinegar to exactly the level you like, and if you find commercial
sriracha too spicy, you can make your own using milder chiles. I made
sriracha a couple months ago, adding in some carrots for additional flavor
and sweetness, and I was very happy with it; the pint of sriracha I made was
completely consumed in about six days.

You must have defective sriracha. Huy Fong sriracha is a
completely homogenized wettish paste. At least the 400 bottles of
it I've ever used. Both at room temp and from the fridge. It has
never separated like ketchup or mustard.
Maybe if your bottles were previously frozen...

Numbers? Google didn't have a number for Dial-A-Clue, so you're out of luck,
asshole.
What do you find so objectionable to the idea of making sriracha that you
like, rather than complaining about a product you disliked so much that you
tossed it? (And by your "heavy vinegar" description, that product wasn't
sriracha anyway.)

I have no idea how YOU do things. I don't care to know, and I
