Oops, some times I can't resist...but you are right...he IS a lonely
troll...must be on a disability pension as he never seems to work.
Too young to retire so would assume he's burnt out and unemployable.

I made some once and it was one of the real flops I have ever made. It
called for Soba noodles and even though I did what the recipe said, they
were not cooked and remained hard as rocks.

Somen salad is popular in Hawaii and can be ordered at many restaurant
along with Chinese chicken salad. It's made with thin somen noodles that
take a couple of minutes to cook. You'd probably get better results
using that. OTOH, I don't care much for somen salad since the idea of
mixing noodles and lettuce ain't my idea of a great time.
