    Default Fishticker shock

Stopped for some fish at a local market - almost fell over -- Hog
    Snapper was 22.99 a pound.

I settled for the more plebeian cod at 9.99 a lb. The only cheaper
fish was some farm raised catfish and some tilapia.

Holy cow! I saw an image of Salmon sausage at the same price on a FB
group I subscribe to and thought that was expensive. No idea what a
Hog Snapper is but it better be good! Wiki says: The hogfish is
currently listed as "Vulnerable" with the World Conservation Union
(IUCN). It's not even listed by Monterey Bay Seafood watch.

I wouldn't call cod "settling" though because I like it *that* much.

Do you know how hard it is to mate a swine with a turbot? $23 is
    cheap.
