Lovely to see all that green. Out here in Nebraska is all scorched
earth.

It was all scorched here a month ago, everything brown, but then the
rains came, a deluge with lots of lightening... a few days later while
mowing I noticed a tree at the edge of the woods was hit, split down
the center. I'm glad it didn't damage all those young spruce trees.
Always something to keep me busy, I'll take it down tomorrow. I don't
mind working in the woods this time of year, it's cooler and no bugs:

Thank you. That's my girl friend at my deck, she's one of the few
that comes begging for snacks, she gets bread and carrots and she
loves the over ripe tomatoes from my garden. If I don't see her right
away she goes all around the house peeking in every window until she
finds me.

Aw.....how sweet. Here at the office I have one particular rock
dove that comes and looks for goodies. The rest are all scardy cat
but he's not.
If I get up to take goodies out to them he will stay and the others
will fly away and come back after I've gone back inside. HE's the
smart one.

And getting pretty repetitive and pathetic. He's like a little boy
showing off his stuffed animals. But now he's older and has to pay
the deer (in food) to come visit and entertain him.

So, why don't you "outdo" him by showing pictures of your lovely food wrap rolls
in all of their glory? Gawd, you are sick Squertz...can't even give him credit
for appreciation of nature and the creatures that live in the area where he
lives.

Wonderful! I just love the idea of a deer peering in every window-
looking for you.

I guess I'm lazy to take pictures, but I always got deer close to my house
feeding on downed apples. Different groups, and the lonely one. Sometimes
they come a little too close when I'm with the cats out back. I'm always
looking at groups of turkeys.

stay round your place during the winter?

Beautiful. Is hunting a big factor in your area? If the deer are that
tame, I fear fr their safety (and yours) during the season. There are
some crazies out there who can't tell a deer from a dog, a cow, or a horse.
