I've never been able to figure out why. Can't see any use for it whatsoever
but I know I'm not alone in that. Yound peeps seem to find it fascinating
but I'm not young any more and nor do I need to know about every burp of
thought that seems to end up being put on FB.

I joined at the behest of friends in the UK. What a bloody nuisance! Every
time someone farted I received a notification.
So, I quit the bloody thing but inspite of this, I still get a weekly e-mail
from them!
You are wise to avoid it!

I use FB a bit, but I never get an email from them. Just change a
setting somewhere.

Zuckerburg is a genius!

The interface looks like something you'd see over 10 years ago. My guess
is that Google + will gain ground as Facebook fades. Well, eventually,
anyway. Google's social network is a universe while Facebook is a
website. That's the breaks.

That would mean contacting them and running the risk of opening up my
original account! I've just set my junk mail filter.

They don't delete your account for 14 days. And if you login, they reactive
the crap.

you must be smoking maui zowie.
G+ has gone down, just like previous Google social networks
like "Buzz" and "Orkut".
I'm not saying FB isn't going down either. The history is,
Social Networks make a splash and then fail. FB, probably
no exception to the rule.
