Dreaming Up Disaster 4
Dreaming Up Disaster 4
A pseudo pre-fab disaster.
1 lb. bulk Jimmy Dean sausage
1 box Zatarain's "New Orleans" style Jambalaya mix
Hot Italian sausage has been my "go to" sausage in the past. Just using
up the standing JD in the fridge.
I never figured out which added more spicy heat, the Italian sausage or
the Zatarain's add-in spice envelope.
I may have to add some cayenne to a bowl as a test. Then pour some on or
leave it out.
Funny though, I'm not hungry yet. I'm only anticipating.

P.S. The fridge contents survived the power outage without spoiling. Even
the milk. --A

Yay for you and your fridge, what a loss and messy cleanup tht could
have been. I was thinking about everyone up there that lost juice.
Sleepless nights, and overheating during the day. I'd have been a slug
motionwise. Heat really does me in. Bless you all, and I hope all the
electricity is restored soon.
We just had bad electrical storm, but kept our juice, no straightline
winds here.

Nan,
Thank you.
I don't have the most recent figures on still out of power customers.
After only a couple of days, if customers weren't able to toss in some
dry ice, the contents are probably spoiled.
Best,
Andy
