It's a very well-known sketch in Europe, and I believe it is
traditionally played on New Year's Eve.

My dad used to act it out a bit when I was a kid, and my sister and I
would be roaring with laughter.

Then in about 1980, I saw it for a while on HBO but haven't seen it
since.

The original version takes about 18 minutes, so maybe this one had
been shortened.
