    Lin made:

Seared ribeye steaks topped with melting burrata
    Caponata with cocoa powder
    Steamed broccoli
Crostini (to use as mix-and-match platforms for the other stuff)

I posted the link to the caponata recently; Lin used the black cocoa powder
to make it. The spiciness was a bit surprising and very much to *my* tastes,
but others might want to cut down on the chile flakes a bit.

I took the leftovers with me to work tonight.

I've never thought about putting eggplant (or cheese) and cocoa powder
    together.

Cutos to her for buying black cocoa powder! I haven't done it yet.

The recipe came from Mario Batali. I bought the eggplant at the farmers'
market on Tuesday, and bought the ribeyes at the same market with the
express intention of pairing them with that caponata.

I bought the black cocoa powder some years ago. We've still got quite a bit
    left.

    As always!

Nah, I don't read blogs unless I know the people writing them. Besides,
there's no hurry to use up the cocoa powder.

When I read the date I thought this was memory lane or a joke, but no?

Oops. I don't have my reading glasses with me tonight, so typos get by more
easily. It should say 2011-11-17. Good catch!

Macaroni and cheese is delicious for dinner! The entire family,
especially the kids, love this dish. Here is a great recipe:

'Quick & Easy Mac ‘n Cheese Eating Made Easy'

It is healthy and easy. You can add squash to make it even more
healthy. I hope you enjoy it!
