    Default Did you know there is a "secret" farm bill?

    Mark Bittman's column today is an eye opener...and it pissed me right
    off. It's worth the read.

    It's about the farm bill, which STILL will pay enormous subsidies to
    big agribusiness while the
    small farmer gets the shaft. Did you know that small farmers who
    grow actual fruits and vegetables
    crops are called "specialty crops". Real food, sustainable
    practices.......ignored.

    Worth the read.

    Sorry about that!

    It's well past time, but as long as there's a Republican majority,
    it's hardly worth trying. Even without one, there's only a slim
    chance.
