Dessicated mango
Last Christmas Candy stuff I'm making is some "bark". You know, melted
chocolate poured out onto waxed paper and goodies tossed into it so
when the chocolate sets up,you get chocolate with goodies in it. I
made one small batch with 65% dark chocolate and put almonds and dried
cherries in it.
Now I've cut up 4 mangoes and have them dessicating in the oven like I
did last year when I dessicated pineapple. I was thinking of getting
some macadamia nuts and doing some more 65% dark chocolate with
macadamias and dried mangoes.
I've got some milk chocolate too. And pecans. What fruit might go good
in that?
Any other good ideas?

Milk chocolate pairs well with hazelnuts, expecially toasted hazelnuts. It's
similar to gianduja, a real treat
