    Wall Street Journal

In the age of Twittering self-absorption, now comes a
cookbook with the perfect subject: dining by oneself. Thank
goodness Suzanne Pirret, an actress and Cordon Bleu
graduate, took on the job of writing "The Pleasure Is All
    Mine." (Amazon: http://snipr.com/PleasureMine ) She
displays a disarming blend of naked egotism, self-
deprecating humor and, most important, a keen understanding
of good cooking. As she explains in her introduction: "This
is a cookbook about cooking for yourself, decadently. There
are serious cookbooks written by serious chefs and light
and breezy cookbooks written by wholesome cooks. This is

i thought it was funny when amazon showed as three of the 'Customers Who
Bought Related Items Also Bought' items:

Diary of an S&M Romance by Dollie Llama

Carrie's Story: An Erotic S / M Novel by Molly Weatherfield

Female Submission: The Journal of Madelaine by Claudia Varrin

....which i guess shows that amazon customers are well-rounded individuals.

Okay that was funny. ;-) I'm surprised this one did not pop up as it's
    a classic:

My wife rarely eat the same thing for breakfast, lunch or dinner
unless we've got guests. Even at a restaurant, we tend to order
differently, unless there's fresh tuna or garlic prawns on the menu.

So it could be said that each of us cooks for ourselves and,
thankfully, our kitchen layout allows us to do so with only the
    occasional glitch..

Unless we have guests we also eat breakfast and lunch at different
times and separately, but eat dinner together.
