Default convection roaster

I am thinking of buying a roaster to solve my small oven problem. I have
mostly looked at amazon and was wondering if anyone has a comment. Some
people who have bought them speak about having to 'burn them out' and you
have to do it outside. It takes at least 8 hours and the smell is awful.
There are no comments on the Nesco convection roaster. Has anyone bought
this? Would you recommend it or another?

This sounds like a useless feature. There's is no room for proper
convection in a roaster. Unless there's liner filed with oil, and
that provides the convection within the walls of the roaster.

I wouldn't trust the thing to cook evenly.
