Committing to my addiction.
Committing to my addiction.
I used to have a two roll a day SweeTart habit in the not too distant
past. I've cut that back to 1/2 roll a day.
One day the candy rack at the CVS pharmacy was out of them but there were
rolls of Sprees so I tried one. They were less tart and tropical fruit
flavored but equally enjoyable.
Not to be out of luck at the candy rack again, I looked on Amazon.com for
SweeTarts and found them. I also found the Sprees.
Unable to decide, I ordered a box of each. 36 rolls per box. The price of
my addiction just went way down!
I don't munch 'em, rather let them dissolve like cough drops. Less of an
instant rush but a longer lasting one.
Thankfully I got the Starburst and Twizzlers monkeys off my back years
ago!

When I was a teenager I was addicted to SweeTarts. Ten years later my
youngest son became addicted, renewing my own addiction. It was his
fault,he shouldn't have brought them in the house. :-P I remember
they left my mouth feeling funny, but I forget how. Like you, I would
let them dissolve instead of chewing them, although I would chew one
once or twice. It has been many years since I had a SweeTart.

Becca,
Sometimes SweeTarts will rub the roof of my mouth raw in spots as they
dance around on my tongue. Sound familiar?
Best,

Yep, you are exactly right, the same thing happened to me. Funny how I
blocked that from my memory. Maybe I was sucking on my SweeTarts a
little too aggressively.
Congrats on quitting smoking.

I haven't had SweeTarts for many years either, but I think Red Bull tastes
like SweeTarts.
