CNN has a new food blog.
It can be interesting ....and amusing.... to read. If you are

We grew up eating spicy food. My Mom was cajun and we lived in a
Hispanic area. I like peppers, depending on my mood and what I am
eating. My sister will eat 3-4 jalapenos, and cry while she is doing
it. lol My children also like it hot, but the majority of people
don't. I was surprised by the results of their poll.
The hotter, the better 30.9% (1,209 votes)
Up to a point, sure 44.9% (1,758 votes)
I can take a little bit of heat 15.5% (608 votes)
Mild is fine 5.8% (227 votes)
Not even a little 2.9% (115 votes)
Total Votes: 3,917

There are very few chiliheads that actually don't have some
sort of limit, although that limit may shift around under
various circumstances.
An entire fistfull of habaneros in a pot of food is too much
for me.
I tend to believe my personal limit is at around 20% of the Scoville
value where the most extreme cases have their limit.

I know some 30.9 percenters, I think they are raving mad! Habanaros are
usually too hot for me.
