Default Chinese urine-soaked "virgin boy eggs" Appetizer or entree?

From Reuters, an article on Chinese urine-soaked eggs,
a specialty in the city of Dongyang:

"Basins and buckets of boys' urine are collected from primary
school toilets. It is the key ingredient in "virgin boy eggs", a
local tradition of soaking and cooking eggs in the urine of
young boys, preferably below the age of 10."

While I usaally have standard rant about people calling certain
foodstuffs, "Asian Delicacies" and "Asian specialties", but this one
truly qualifies as a "specialty". Probably ot so much a delicacy
because of they are easy to produce and obtain (using child labor).

    Good article :-)

I'll stick to my spiced tea eggs, thank you!

If the piss eggs make you sick you can always go get some sheep sinus mucous
membrane jelly or powdered ape urethra or whatever it is they use to treat
    piss egg disease.

It's a wonder the entire Chinese culture didn't poison itself out of
    existence a thousand years ago.

Fresh urine is sterile and mostly practically sanitary coming from a
healthy, 10 year old boy. No pasteurization required!

The urine can encounter germs etc. upon exiting the body.

I'd feel better about it if the 10 year old virgin boys had been
circumcised also, but I guess trying to restrict the fluid donors
to 10 year old virgin boy Chinese Jews might be problematic.

In China I'm sure they have "little boy farms" where they are lined up
in bare tables with catheters and liquid feeding tubes installed.
After age 10 they get used for .... oh, you really don't want to know.

    :-)

Sitting around in a pot for 7-8 hours doesn't help either. They may
be able to strain ot the chewing gum, but not the spit.

I was thinking maybe I could open up a food "stall" here in Austin.
I'd call it "You're In Eggs". I could use a toilet stall as my
    "storefront".
