Burgers @ Breakfast
Burgers @ Breakfast
A box (6-pack) of White Castle cheeseburgers with sides of
mustard, guac and pesto for dipping.
Ooh-lah-lah x 6.
Washed down by a tall glass of water.
I'm not trying to set any burger world record but still a
valiant effort at today's kitchen table.
You?

LOL! Did you eat all 6? You sound like me (only eating at different times
of the day). I know the White Castle burgers are tiny though. If I was
hungry, I'd do all 6 too!

Gary,
Yes. Yes I did eat all six.
They were the supermarket frozen kind so they were missing the
pickle and their mustard. Both of which I've never tried, having
never been to a restaurant.
#5 and #6, chew strength became a challenge!
Best,

Nice breakfast. We do not have White Castle here, so I have never been
to one, but one of my friends was getting her pilot's license, so she
flew to St. Louis, went to White Castle, and brought a few sacks of them
back to Houston. They were okay, just not what I was accustomed to. It
was a burger, so how bad could it be?

EggBeaters and a slice of low-carb twigs and leaves toast, smothered in
sausage gravy. A second slice of low-carb toast, spread with crunchy
peanut butter (Smucker's Natural) and no-sugar-added applebutter. Coffee,
of course.

If you are in the mood to make your own, I have a recipe that comes
pretty close. The burgers are basically steamed on a bed of onions-
let me know if you're interested...

merryb,
I'll be highly motivated to use your recipe with your presence
at the kitchen table!

Actually, it's the opposite; Evil Twins are charged twice as much. Sadly,
they are known to skip out without paying, regardless or regular or double
price - that's evil for ya.

Is it the one with liver baby food? I don't think that ingredient is still
available.

If the recipe does not use dehydrated chopped onions, then it will be
nothing like White Castle.

White Castle hamburgers do not, and have never, contained liver.
