Build a better $100,000 burger.
Build a better $100,000 burger.
http://buildabetterburger.com/
Sutter Home vintners host this annual contest.
See the link to the winning recipe.
I submitted my Mexcellent Cheeseburger to the them but it was deemed too
unfair competition. Yeah right!
Questions for the Day: Have you ever competed in a food/recipe contest?
What did you cook? Did you win a prize ribbon?

So Andy, you gonna part with your Mexcellent Cheeseburger recipe?
I looked at the site, and the burger looked good, but so did the babe
that submitted the recipe.

A Moose in Love,
I put the recipe on allrecipes.com
http://alturl.com/f5jun
My photo is the six cell one.
Over all the years, it's only been peer reviewed three times. Oh well.
I've also made it using toasted waffles with good results.
For added crunch, a slice of raw red onion is optional.
These days one is probably more than enough for me.
Best,
Andy

These look very good. They're probably too simple for a cook off
challenge, but I do like simplicity. I've yet to try avocado on a
burger.

I just had avocado on my burger the day before yesterday. Oh, so
good! Another thing to try on your burger is a big pile of roasted
garlic cloves. YUM!

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

I almost didn't submit the recipe because contest rule stipulate if you
won, you'd surrender the copyright for the recipe to Sutter Home. I
thought, heck for $100k they can have it. So what if my one-page cookbook
becomes a thing of the past!?! <G>

At least they was real purdy. We've had roving packs of hetero boys
and girls come up on us in downtown LA. They though they was sumfin'
else. Better rassle a grizzly, then truck with them hetero boys.
