Buffalo Franks
These are the best franks I've had in a very long time.
While I was hard at work Stan was perusing the aisles of Costco. Lucky
me he brought home some buffalo franks

Ready for the broiler, they look like "regular" franks

Broiled and lookin' good. Here's a peek inside

I know buffalo can be a little dry so that was a concern of mine, then
I noticed there is beef in there also so that helps.
These are really delicious. When I'm hungry for a frank, or hot dog, I
want a good one and these are by far my favorite.
Hmmm. I need to find out the difference between a frank and a hot dog.

You can speak frankly but you can't speak hotdogly.

Ballpark.

koko,
I was instantly interested at the subject line until... I saw the package.
added beef (in what proportion? they could've been a little more
forthcoming about that). The website mentions the buffalo free range but
are finished for 3 to 4 months grain fed which will dramatically changes
the flavor.
Buffalo is dry if you cook it medium rare like beef. A bloody rare burger
or steak is to die for. And it must be free range till butchered. I've had
grain fed buffalo and it tasted just like cow. Free range buffalo has the
best flavor.
I clicked on their "Free Offers" which amounts to a free magazine, discount
coupons, free recipes etc. I was expecting free food. A buy one get one
free coupon would've been nice. AFTER you first complete a lengthy survey!
The BUMS!!!
Though I can't quite grasp the idea of a buffalo hot dog, I'd still try one
but I have a pre-conception about what it'll taste like. As if it's not bad
enough that it contains beef, why did they add natural smoke flavor? To
further mask what actual buffalo tastes like! The BUMS!!!
I don't even cheese my buffalo burger. Just bun and buffalo.
A two The BUMS!!! rating! I think that's a first.
Best,
Andy
