Default Breakfast in Dubai?

Breakfast in Dubai?

I made another French toasted grilled cheese & guacamole sandwich. My
favorite!

Dubai, first impressions, what a great expanding country!

I'd move there if I could afford to.

You?

Watching the final round of the 1st Dubai PGA (?) golf championship.

What the hell is a french toasted grilled sandwich? Do you mean like
a Monte Cristo?

I'll take Canada any day of the week. Lots of nice places here.
Ditto for the US. If I were forced to move anywhere out of country,
I'd choose Wyoming. Nice people. Nice scenery. Lots of guns.

I've had some of the best times of my life in Canada!

Expo '67 being the most memorable.

Should've brushed up on my French. How was I supposed to know???

And at senior high school, I didn't know you couldn't drink beer at 16-
yo. There's a funny story about that, in old city Quebec. You sure as
sh*T could get stoned at McGill University, Montreal!!!

Too many stories, so little time!

I was at Expo '67. So was James Earl Ray. Maybe. He was in Montreal
during the summer of 1967. I might have seen him, or you. I was
there in 1968 as well with the marching band: 'The Flying Dutchboys.'

Hume Cronyn(the actor; husband of Jessica Tandy) was educated at
McGill. I knew an old Russian who attended McGill, and knew Mr.
Cronyn.

Actually, my Italian cousin & his girlfriend went there a couple of
months ago, and they loved it- he said the people were very nice.

Their whole shoddy economc house 'o cards is built on foreign indentured
slave labor...it's "nice" in the sense that visiting the 1936 Berlin

I'm sure you are right on some of that- he was just surprised that the
average person was different from what he expected, if that makes
sense...

While that may be true, it was appently built with a pile of debt.

Yup, all those snazzy new construction projects are pretty much dead in the
water...

They wanted to be the "Miami" of the Middle East...so in this case the old
adage "Be careful what you wish for" is quite apropo...

I read in the UK _Guardian_ or some place a whiles back that the expat
foreigners who were reading The Lives of Riley in Dubai are fleeing like
lemmings now that the economy has tanked. Dubai has this quaint old habit
of imprisoning debtors...the Dubai airport parking lot is full of the
abandoned luxury vehicles of foreigners who scrammed before they were hauled
into debtor's court and then debtor's prison...

ER ??
Whats this with blaming the expats ?

The camel jockeys asked begged and scammed many to
brinfgexpertise then reniged on contracts(after sucking the brains
and contacts trusts dry) .
Looks like you are talking though your arse --- when did you last
work in the regions ? And for whom ?
