I don't really like those cheapo *airy* white bread buns.
I like my dawg wraped in a tough slice of seeded rye... so
lemme share a little trick... I buy 2 lb loaves of seeded
sourdough rye from my stupidmarket (unsliced), this way
I can make thinner slices and and unsliced bread doesn't
go stale as quickly. Now here's the trick; I slice the loaf
on a ~45º bias... this gives me larger slices for making
man-sized sammiches, and since they are *longer* slices
they are poifect for wrapping about and ensconcing a tube
steak... the poifect length... I don't really appreciate the dawg
hanging out each end, in fact I find that visually offensive, reminds
me of a guy with his fly open and his thing poking out.... yoose
gals may appreciate that view but that's just too gay for moi to
wrap my mind around let alone my lips. hehe

Okay, I'm having my cawfee, too early for brunch... but I got a hunk
of good braunschwieger I'm thinking would go well in a man-sized
seeded rye sammiche with Gulden's, sliced raw onion, and romaine.
Hmm, might be an early brunch today.

Do you work at a night job, or do you just like to eat dinnertime food
at breakfast? I like to do that, too, and likewise I am fond of
breakfast foods at dinner. Pancakes and bacon for dinner is the
shiznit!

I rarely eat dinner. If I do I don't sleep as soundly. So breakfast is the
main meal of the day. I'll have a late lunch when I feel like it.

I drink ice cold lemon'd or lime'd water all day and night.

some sweet onion, a touch of garlic,
sauteed, then inundated in whipped
eggs and cooked into a fritatta.

Served in the middle of rye slices as
a sandwich, ketchup on top.

Iced tea on the side.

Just a thought, based on response posts.

IN Middle Europe, they don't go much with
our high-carbo breakfasts. Sausages, cheeses,
breads, mustards, all are OK. High fat, compared
to ours. I have eaten many a breakfast of cold cuts
and cheeses, with *good* bread in CZ, HU and other
States. I was well fed.

One slice thick toast with homemade strawberry jam, one slice with
orange marmelade and of course, decaf. No fruit cos we ran out

Left over Chinese food is a pretty good breakfast. Heck, Egg Foo Yung is
pretty close to a breakfast dish anyway.
