I don't really like those cheapo *airy* white bread buns.
I like my dawg wraped in a tough slice of seeded rye... so
lemme share a little trick... I buy 2 lb loaves of seeded
sourdough rye from my stupidmarket (unsliced), this way
I can make thinner slices and and unsliced bread doesn't
go stale as quickly. Now here's the trick; I slice the loaf
on a ~45º bias... this gives me larger slices for making
man-sized sammiches, and since they are *longer* slices
they are poifect for wrapping about and ensconcing a tube
steak... the poifect length... I don't really appreciate the dawg
hanging out each end, in fact I find that visually offensive, reminds
me of a guy with his fly open and his thing poking out.... yoose
gals may appreciate that view but that's just too gay for moi to
wrap my mind around let alone my lips. hehe
Okay, I'm having my cawfee, too early for brunch... but I got a hunk
of good braunschwieger I'm thinking would go well in a man-sized
seeded rye sammiche with Gulden's, sliced raw onion, and romaine.
Hmm, might be an early brunch today.
