    Default Blood on Chicken

OK I have bought boneless skinless chicken tenderloins but I see some
parts with blood on some of the pieces. Is it safe to eat? How can I
remove it if I want to?

    Thanks

How many missed the point that there is no such thing as a chicken
    tenderloin?

    Rinse it off.

If you are eating meat, you are generally eating blood whether or not
    it's visible silly!

    It's safe.

I've never seen tenders sold on their own. I have to pick them off whole
chickens myself, which usualy means I don't save enough on the side for
things like stir fry without mixing in other types of chicken (tenders are
small!), though I imagine that would be great.

    Fried. ;-)

We can buy packages of just "tenders" - but what they are is just pre-
sliced chicken breasts, no skin, no bones. Big whoop.

Then you are buying sliced chicken breast, not tenders.

Chicken tenders are made of breast meat. Try again.

It's that piece of meat attached on one side of the
breast. It's rib meat, I believe.

The local market that has a real meat department sells packs of tenders.
They are the actual tender not sliced chicken breast.

I guess it depends on which "chicken tenders" you mean:

The name Chicken Tenders is a registered trademark of Burger King
Holdings and is displayed with the "circle-R" (®) symbol in the US,

BK Chicken Tenders are small, thin pieces of formed, white meat chicken,
breaded and lightly spiced. Sizing is contingent on regional preferences
of franchises, sizes include three, four, five..

    Not quite true;

here is a picture of the little strip of meat within the chicken breast
    generally called the tenderloin.
