I've never seen tenders sold on their own. I have to pick them off whole
chickens myself, which usualy means I don't save enough on the side for
things like stir fry without mixing in other types of chicken (tenders are
small!), though I imagine that would be great.

The local market that has a real meat department sells packs of tenders.
They are the actual tender not sliced chicken breast.
