Bialy French Toast
I had some stale bialies I wanted to use up. I sliced them about a
half inch thick, soaked the slices in milk and egg, then browned them
on both sides. They turned out nice and custardy in the middle.

That sounds like a good rescue. Bagels are great and bagel chips are a fine do-over, but they don't compare to fresh bialis still warm from the oven. The next time I make too many, I now know what to do with the leftovers.
