Thread: Best Mainline Candy Bar

    Default Best Mainline Candy Bar

    Hershey's Cookies and Cream

But the ingredients list "vegetable oil (Cocoa butter, palm, shea,
    sunflower and/or safflower)".

So I guess cocoa butter is optional since this they have taken all
references to "chocolate" off the label. Slimy bastards. And WTF
    is "shea" oil?

    So I'm changing my vote:

    Heath Bars are #1!

Candy Bar Trivia: Without looking, which came first:

Good and Plenty or Tootsie Rolls?

Better yet, which of those two was a finalist for Official Candy of
Hell? (It eventually lost to Circus Peanuts.)

Yes, he did. It's spelled R-e-e-s-e-'-s (as in Peanut Butter Cups) because
they have the three Big Ones: fat, sugar and salt.

Good and Plenty tastes like hell. As a kid I would nibble off the
candy coating and throw the little turd inside away.

Mallow Cups were always better than Reeses PBC's. IMO, of course.

I don't care for peanut butter and chocolate together. Candy bars I
like include, 100 Grand, Milky Way, Twix, and Heath.

Bzzzzt! Sorry, the correct answer is Snickers, but Reese's Peanut
Butter Cups would also be accepted as being correct.

I think Tootsie Rolls are older than Good and Plenty. I have never
    tasted Good and Plenty.

When I was a kid my mother loved Circus Peanuts, none of us children
    would touch them. lol

100 Grand Bars were included in a bag of Halloween candy I bought last
year. I tried them for the first time, I was impressed, they are pretty
    good.

If you like $100K, but a boc of Little Debbie Star Crunch's for
about $1.40. They are very similar, except LD's have a gooey
molasses cookie inside (along with all the other goop). And they're
much cheaper for what you get.

    Ha!

How about those horrible waxed paper (orange and black) wrapped
taffies that people used to hand out for Halloween back in the day?

At the movies, growing up, it was either a big box of Milk Duds or Sno
    Caps.

I still enjoy a "Kit Kat" bar on occasion.

Must have been an Iowa thing...

How about those candy/frosting dots on waxed paper? You inevitably
ended up eating a lot of waxed paper.
