Best cooking scence in a movie?
What is yours?
I'd have to say Blazing Saddles and the campfire scene.

The best cooking scene(s) in any movie ever was the whole movie
Tortilla Soup.
If you've never seen it you should rent it. Best Mexican cooking
ever shown, hell, best cooking ever shown.

I was impressed by a lot of the cooking and photography of food items in
Last Holiday.

Mine is the feast scene in Babette's Feast. And all of the
prep and cooking leading up to it.

Kate Hepburn with the waffle making - altho a bit farfetched. Can't
think of title right now - one of those with Spencer Tracey.
Dustin Hoffman making b'fast for the Kramer kid. Funny but sad in a
way.

Not really a cooking scene but the refrigerator scene in 9 1/2 weeks

Mine is a cooking scene from Mrs. Doubtfire. I got a lot of good laughs out
of that movie, but that was truly funny to me.

The first one that came to mind was the ratatouille scene in
Ratatouille.
There are some really good scenes in Chocolat and Big Night and the
prison cooking scene in Goodfellas.

Cheri,
That had to be the first scene of it's kind on film! LOL!

I liked the one where they mistook a bag of bubble gum for marshmallows
and decorated a cake with it. Much fun ensued. One of these days I'm
gonna decorate a cake with marshmallows although it's likely that Sandra
Lee has already done that. :-)

I know it stuck in my mind, even now when mishaps happen in the kitchen I
say...I'm having a Mrs. Doubtfire Day here.
