Bebe's BBQ (Philly, PA, USA) is closed for good.

After watching "Food Paradise: 'BBQ Paradise'" last November, they got
high marks. I remember my disappointment at "Sorry, we're closed. We'll
    be open next spring."

Well I called up the URL to their webpage and it's gone. I was looking
forward to trying it. [sigh] They were located at the Italian market in
    South Philly.

They were only open for a few years. Talk about a brief moment in the
    sun!

Some patrons did mention that they often didn't keep the entire menu in
    stock at all times.

It was such a small place, he probably couldn't serve enough customers to
    pay the rent.

There's a recent rumor someone started that it could reopen sometime in
the fall but once you lose or don't renew the lease, it's game over man!

There's Percy Street BBQ (by rfc recommendation) a few blocks away from
the Italian market, that I still have to try.

There is another BBQ place in PA that is odd. I am not sure which city it
is in. Could be Nescopeck. Either that or between there and Sugarloaf.
Anyway... They are just a hole in the wall and seemingly open at whim. SIL
told me they mainly do orders for big parties.

    Julie,

    Pennsylvania isn't known for BBQ.

    Sad but true.

    Best,

    Andy
