apple pie with BP?
OK you bakers.
Made an apple pie this PM, and, in a moment of something-or-other, ,
doused same with BP.
Some in the apples, other with egg wash on top crust with turbinado
sugar and BP.
Anybody else ever done this?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
So how was it?
I've had salt on green mangos, and balsamic on strawberries, can't
remember if I've ever put pepper on any fruit as yet.

The sun is just coming up here...... which is the excuse I'll use for that
one flying right by me :-)
Alice Springs?? Alice in Wonderland?? (If it's that one...... I've never
read it, never seen it, and only know it's got a tin man, a lion and a
yellow brick road in it.)

It's out of the oven. Pretty. But it smells, vaguely, of
dog hair.! What? Wassup with that?
I admit to being at a loss. Seemed like a good idea.
Alex, thinking about adding melted cheddar.

Here's what I don't understand. The Dutch offered their services and
they are very good at what they do. They have ships that skim,
separate oil from the water and return the water to the ocean. The
USA did not take them up on the offer (Alaska or the Gulf). I heard
the arguments against, but I'm not buying them.
I see on TV that they're claiming the oil spill is degenerating
quickly due to dispersants and bacteria... but I sincerely doubt it.
Things never improve that quickly. Oil is hiding under the surface
and nobody is looking for it because they're so busy patting
themselves on the back right now. Find the oil plumes, call in the
Dutch and take the remaining oil out of Gulf waters *now*.

Kevin Costner's investment in oil-removal tech is the same as the
Dutch, and BP is using it.

Not to change topic, but,
It seems that when private industry creates a mess,
the feds are all over them "like stink on ****"...
( unless they pay the right congressman to "stonewall" )
When the Feds screw up,
ie. Agent Orange, Military bases with toxic dumps, etc, etc....
then it seems to be "no problem found, or "under study"
