I won't be eating for several hours. But it will be whole wheat toast with
Smart Balance, topped with a little flax seed and hemp seed and a little
gelled chia seeds on the side.

Mine was very early today since I didn't sleep all night. I filled in
some time making some cookies.
http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2009/...aisin-cookies/
Mine were made with muesli rather than rolled oats and for some reason I
was out of brown sugar. They completely flattened rather than be puffed
like the recipe said so I'm not sure what I did wrong but they are
delicious!

Gosh darnit!

My "normal" breakfast (several days a week) probably trumps that for most
people--oatmeal with some fresh fruit (a handful of fresh strawberries,
sliced bananas or sliced strawberries). Sometimes a few English walnuts
scattered on top. That's all!

Yes. Hers was even crappier and less appealing than yours.

Did you ever consider that that you're just a boring, mediocre person?

A boring, mediocre man who has a habit of making slimy, sexually
suggestive comments.

What's with all the seeds on toast. Is this the bird newsgroup now?

And that is precisely true, even though I was probably drunk when I
posted that. I am inspired by certain historical figures, but I do
not believe in the existence of a personified god, or anything that
violates the laws of physics and causality. I am also a fan of Karl
Marx, but I am certainly not a Communist.

Two eggs, over-easy; two sausage patties and two slices of toast. One piece
of toast to sop egg remnants, the other spread with peanut butter and
applebutter. Coffee.
Review: this was my first time eating Jimmy Dean "Hot" sausage; when this
chub is gone, I will not be eating it again. When fried, it was more like
poached because it threw off so much water, unlike the Bob Evans sausage I
usually buy.

I had my usual boring breakfast but then I decided, since our
15-year-old asked for these yesterday but it was too late, to bake
Giardelli (I know that's not the right spelling - that's the trumpet
mouthpiece maker <sigh>> double chocolate brownies (it's a mix) - and I
got to clean out the bowl. I don't think it's possible to trump that.

I finally took the plunge and popped that can of Mixed Congee. It tastes
fine but I don't like it chilled. Too glutinous. I'll let it warm up
some and try again.

Wait just a second there. Ronnie Rayguns proved that the USSR was the
Evil Empire, and guess whose work inspired the creation of the USSR?
It was Marx, and that means Marx was Evil too. That makes you a
traitor, goshdarnit, and you better watch out when your name comes up
before a Death Panel.

It got a little better as it approached room temp. I ate probably 75%
of the solid food in that can. There's a bunch of light brown liquid
left with a few extremely soggy beans and barley and rice grains in
there. I think I'm done.
