Thanks for the clean link. I didn't know you had to have an account
to see it. I only got an account to see what it was all about. It is
a nice way to share with friends but the games and stuff are a waste
of time. I've got more blocks on that than I do killfiles here.

Did you see the clip on Keith Oberman tonight about the forklift
driver in an alcohol warehouse? I didn't find it on youtube when I
looked.

I was hoping towards the end that someone was going to make sure he made
it home okay, or at least called the LEOs so they would make sure he
didn't fall out in the street and get ran over.
Sad to say, no one appeared to care enough. Not even the the operators
at that store.
To top it off, some jerk felt the need to make a video of this sad
moment for that person's life...
I don't know who I feel sorry more for. The obviously too drunk guy, the
pathetic human excuses that didn't try and help him, or the jerk that
made the video.

I think the video was store video.

I'm certain of that sf... I just have a hard time understanding the
human splicing the store video for internet humor consumption.
I also feel bad that no one tried to make sure he stayed safe. I would
have either tried to make sure he got home safe, or would have called
the LEOs to make sure he stayed safe without my help. I certainly would
not have been able to cope well with reading he was run over the next
day, and I could have prevented it.
Just makes me sad. We all have sad moments in our life. What is the
value in seeing those spots in other people's lives?

I've watched a few youtube videos. Sometimes I was pretty horrified.
But then I looked more carefully. There were too many camera angles,
the sound was too good to be coming from a mike on the camera and there
were strange anomalies with clothing changes and disappearing dirt.
That wasn't some old lady getting mugged, that was somebody's film
project. Why didn't *somebody* help her? One of the three camera guys,
the sound guy or the makeup guy. Well, the makeup guy *did* help her.
He took somebody who was 20 years old and made her look 60.

I've seen a few of those Dan, and I enjoyed watching them. With this one
however, I got the sense that it was a real guy that was way to drunk to
be left to his own devices.
But I agree with you in that there are many videos out there that are
staged.
Thanks for your perspective. That is a possibility, but I felt this
video was a real one. I've seen enough drunks to recognize someone close
to the "pass out" stage. I think this is the case here. Staggering
around is one thing that is easy to fake. Total lose of equilibrium is
something that is difficult to reproduce. Unfortunately, being extremely
drunk, but not passed out is what I think is on this video.
