Default all the food groups--salt, fat and carbs

....is one of the comments from Zagat's survey of favorite fast food
chains. Winners, if that term can be applied to the votes of more
than 6000 people who eat fast food eleven times per month on average,
include Wendy's, Panera, and (in the all-important best burger
category) In-N-Out. Something for everyone here:
    http://www.zagat.com/fastfood

To mie personally, the most astonishing is PF Chang's. -aem

Some of my friends love PF Chang's. We have so many good Asian
restaurants, I have never tried them. That could change whenever I am
    traveling.

Well, I guess if you east fast food 11 times a month, then those
selections make sense.... I think it would have been really interesting
if the survey would have included the average weight of the survey
    respondents...

<laugh> It would take me over 2 years to eat FF 11 times. Even
adding real restaurants in the time table it would be 2 years. And
even with that I have to watch my weight.

It would take me longer than that...

maybe subway is better than the others on the meg-chain list, but it's
still not very good. i think i'd rather have a taco bell in place of one
of the two subways near here.

my understanding is that it's pretty mediocre, but has the comfort of a
chain (if that's the kind of thing you like).

I'm not sure what kind of crack heads were filling out these surveys, but
they were either related to Bill Gates or have no sense of value. Cheesecake
Factory for best value? Are you kidding me? They're not even moderate if you
ask me. I can get much tastier food for much less at any number of places.

Still, it's an interesting read thanks for posting!

I'm not impressed with them for the most part...but they do make these
vegetarian gyoza/dumplings that were delicious. At least, they did a year or
so ago when I was there last. Good enough that my SIL (who was sharing with
me) and I ordered a second batch!

Ah, I wondered what drew people to PF Chang's. When I eat at a chain,
it is usually in an airport.

I like some of the small chains; Taqueria Arandas and Whataburger, where
you can have the best cheeseburger in the world for breakfast. :-P
