Default What book are you currently reading?

    I'm currently reading Don't Breathe a Word
It's so spooky and mysterious. A chilling thriller.

    So,

    What book are you reading?

I am looking for the book that is related to history of the roman empire. I am trying to find out the book which is truly focused on that time and also focus on the roman empire. Currently i am reading a book which name is my Feudal Lords, that book is on women who are socially victimized to their lords only for their dignity and norms.

I would recommend Collleen McCullough's excellent Masters of Rome series if you are looking for historical fiction. [I]First Man in Rome[I]/ begins the series and covers the rise of Marius. The series covers the last years of the republic and the rise of Octavian/Augustus. Alan Massie's [I]Augustus[I] is also excellent about the first years of empire.

I'm reading Black Beauty on my own and The Scarlet Letter for English class.
I really don't know if either are very good. I just kinda read to pass time and classes, not for enjoyment or anything
