I ask this, as I thought it would be most appropriate for this forum. I have worked as a Commis Chef before. Considering I have worked years as a Food Service Assistant and helped prepare food from scratch include cook some meals, I got a chance to apply for this position. My main role was to prepare over 500 croissants each day for breakfast, prepare over 600 canape meals and help with the other chefs. It was extremely busy, and like a go go atmosphere, as I concentrated on putting one thing on one plate, whilst the other person put another. There was no cooking involved. It was just creating canapes for buffets. This was all in aid of the Ryder Cup, and I was working in this thing, [see picture below] especially prepared. It was preparing food for three areas, and the floor where we were next placed to was the VIP section, so it was for the famous.
Inside, of one floor areas. There is another two large ones on either side of it.
The view from the tent/warehouse thingy. The building on the right is much smaller than the large tent thing we were in.
