I just want to say greeting from Finland: nice to be here. I am 35 years old male and amateur chef without ANY education regarding cooking, but deep passion to make (and eat) great food. I have very tight jury in home, because 3 and 5 year old kids takes food very seriously; you just cant fool them.

Fopefully I find some friends from here, and find some great recipes to try out. Its always fun to try something different than regular Finnish food. Biggest problem is ingredients, when backayard look like this:



So its not very easy to get fresh tomatoes at least from your own yard...
On the other hand I would like to share some local specialities with you, and would love to receive comments if any of you dares to try them.
