Smile Greetings from Sydney

GDay,

I'm a navy cook in Sydney. It was the best decision I ever made to become a cook. At the moment I am working in the wardroom, which is where the officers eat and live. Its a la carte and we also do quite a lot of different kinds of functions as the place is used for things like wedding receptions, mess dinners, cocktail parties as well. Functions are my favourite part of my job.

I mostly like making Asian foods, particularly Indonesian, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Thai. I love my chilli, coriander and lemongrass!

Hi White Mouse!
Welcome aboard. That sounds like a very interesting job to have. I bet you have a lot of interesting stories to tell from working with naval officers. I must say that I have not tried making a lot of Asian foods lately. I have been leaning towards short and simple since it's so hot here in Georgia.

I am one of the few who can actually say I looooooove my job!

Asian food is great for heat! Think about where they live! I know its weird, but the theory of chilli when its hot works. Just follow the recipes, it works wonders!!!!
