Why not just don’t take too much cause it may have a side effect in your body. Also, try to research the composition of tea first, to be safe.

I know its really late to comment on this but I just wanted to share something. Green Tea is really my favorite. Weight loss benefits is just a bonus. I am more particular with its antioxidants benefits plus it is really good for our over all being. Since I started drinking green tea regularly, I have had not experienced any constipation and it decreases my feeling of being bloated.
Daily 3 cups of green tea can take a lot of fat out of your body. So you won't lose weight unless you drink 3 cups daily.
Tea is definitely a lower calorie, healthier beverage than soda or juice. But aside from green tea, you should be concerned with the amount of food you are eating throughout the day. In other words, drinking green tea is healthy, but what about the ice cream, potato chips, cookies, crackers, pies, cakes, etc.. All the green tea in the world will not make any difference if these are the types of foods you are regularly consuming.
