Whipped cream topping
'm making a trifle that uses a whipped cream topping that suggests
"whipping the cream and topping the trifle just before serving". There will be about a two-hour gap between topping and serving. I'm serving to a group so
would prefer to have this all together beforehand.
My question: Should I prepare the whipped cream immediately before serving or can I make the whipped cream and keep it in the fridge until ready to top the trifle? OR can I make the whipped cream and have it already on the trifle and just keep it in the fridge all put together?
As you can see, I don't do whipped cream topping on a regular basis and appreciate your help.
