Perhaps storing in an airtight container would be better. I try to store all my flour in airtight containers to stop weevils but I've never stored saffron before.
Several months after opening a box of saffron threads, small weevils appear even though the box is kept closed in a pantry. Any suggestions as to how better store the saffron &/or prevent &/or safely remove the weevils? Thanks

Water and air creates weevils, better to separate these to elements.![]()
