    Hi Ruddaina,
    Where is the recipe? I am on diet and know soup gives energy for workout also so I will be kind if you share the ingredients and directions so I will make vegetable soup also. Thanks in advance for any input.

    lentil soup is amazing. here's a very simple and very delicious soup:

    --saute in oil 1 cup chopped celery, 1 cup chopped carrot and 1 cup chopped onion over medium-low heat until onions are translucent.
    --add in a can of chopped tomatoes (even better, use fresh).
    --add in a good pinch of ground cumin and another good pinch of ground coriander (if you have whole cumin and coriander seed, toast it in a dry pan a bit first before grinding - it brings out more flavor).
    --add in 2 cups dry lentils and 8 cups water (can also use any kind of stock or bullion base).
    --bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
    --cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes until lentils are tender. season with salt and pepper.

    it's cheap, easy, nutritious and delicious. i made this soup for my mom and her husband who eat meat everyday for dinner, and they both loved it.

    Vegetable is very good to our health so keep eating on it..

    We made squash soup too. We just simply boiled the squash with water until tender andsauteed the garlic and onion and until golden.Then, added with the mashed squash and bring to boil to make a soup.

    Well I am vegetarian from the beginning and i like vegetables soup as well . I am pleased to know the recipe which you have posted here about vegetables soup . Moreover, I use to take I usually use potatoes, bell pepper , onion, green beans, in making vegetables soup . I would also try your recipe of vegetables soup very soon .
