I forgot to tell you guys, I am hosting this dinner on Remembrance Day weekend to raise funds for Veterans. Which is why I am trying to spend the smallest amount of money to be able to be as profitable as possible.

I am new on Cooking Junkies, I was looking for help and decided to join to ask my question and share recipes as well!! For my question; On November 10th, I need to prepare a meal for 150, I want something nice enough. I'd like a soup and a main course. Dessert I'm not worried about. My event is a fundraiser so I need to keep my cost as LOW as possible to maximize my profits. I need something simple too. The kitchen workers are vonlunteers just as I am, I don't want them to have to slave around for days before my event. lol.
So this is it, I need help, suggestions, comments. Whatever advice I can get!
