    Default How to remove the garlic smell?

    Hello,

    Does anyone have any idea how to remove the garlic smell from the lids of crushed garlic jars?
    The jars would be very useful for storing other things in but unless I can get rid of the very strong garlic pong. I've tried filling the lid with dampened baking soda which has helped but it still smells a bit.

    Any other ideas?

    Try hot water and vinegar. I've heard this works for getting the smell out of containers.
