Default Has anyone considered a raw food diet?

Personally, I wouldn't do it because I love to eat hot food! I also like the contrast of a cooked meal with a side salad

I posted an article here questioning whether or not eating raw food is a good idea for most people and to show the benefits of it, how much effort is required and how a 70yr old woman has benefited from this way of life.

Let me know your thoughts! Thanks

Is eating a raw food diet the way to go?

I just finished a detox program and one of the topics was going raw. I had no desire to even try it. I like most of my foods cooked but I did learn how to not overcook my veggies to get the most benefits.
Raw shakes did not impress me at all, and the thought of raw shakes 5 times a day for a month was something I was not brave enough to try lol

Growing up in Germany I remember there were loads of people that ate lots of raw vegetables. It's a lot healthier than cooked veg.

Yeah, me too I need hot/cooked food but I definitely respect those who choose a raw food lifestyle. Thanks for the comments!

Raw foodists claim that after a few weeks of a living diet you see noticeable improvements in skin discolorations, puffiness, varicose veins, broken blood vessels and excess weight and cellulite improvement after the diet becomes a way of life.hard drive recovery

It is said that when food is cooked over 118 degree Fahrenheit, the food looses all of its natural nutrients but raw food has many benefits, when you feel exhausted or all drained out at work, simply eat an apple or any other fruit, this would re-energize you. Therefore i would always prefer to eat raw over cooked food.

Eating food that’s been freshly picked just feels different. You feel more connected to the earth and more grounded.
