The most evident advantage of fast food is that it saves time. In today's fast-paced life, there is nothing better than getting a ready meal.Besides time, cost saving gives fast food an edge over the meal prepared in the kitchen. If one lives alone, then it is cheaper to buy a meal at the supermarket instead of cooking it at home. Also certain fast foods like fries and burgers are cheap amount.Usually, fast food is higher in soya, fat, sugar, oil, fried meat, salt, cheese, mayonnaise and obviously calories. The greatest disadvantage of fast food is the adverse effect that it has on one's health. It is a fact that fast food is more unhealthy than home-cooked meals, as it contains higher amounts of unwanted nutrients like salt, fat and various types of additives (artificial chemicals). It may contain harmful bacteria too.

I'm not sure why you would think fast food is better for your health? Of course eating healthier is key. However, there are also ways to save money by eating healthily. Look for special offers, if you buy value range food marinade, season and spice your food well, eat plenty of vegetables, get an allotment to have the space to grow your own food or use your garden. If you don't have time to cook or if you can't cook or you don't enjoy it, then try a healthier choice of "fast food" like subway, fresh sandwiches from supermarkets, healthy ready meals etc.

Is this a trick question? Food is healthiest when it is closest to the ground. Fresh fruit, fresh veggies (frozen next, then canned), fresh meat, fresh eggs (most of the eggs in the supermarket have been packaged for at least 6 weeks), and fresh dairy (when my kids were at home, I drove to a dairy and picked up fresh milk). Our food is adulterated through each step of the process.

Go to hulu or netflix and watch FOOD, INC...FOOD MATTERS, and a few others. I've watched so many of them (yes, they have an agenda, but most of the facts are solid) that nutrition documentaries are on my recommended list and I see new ones quite often. Look for WHAT'S ON MY PLATE--a documentary project by two middle school girls in New York. There is a lot of information out there.

Now days every eatable things become poisoned not too much but poison is harmful for health. Brick by brick poison effects and destroy your immune system. Which is very dangerous thing for human body. So, its become necessary to choose vegetable carefully, especially for children. Kid's Immune system is too soft, because they are in process to become strong. Today, fast food replaces many good and healthy foods which is beneficial for health. Fast food is very easy to prepare. That's why many busy parents recommend fast food at the place of vegetable or any other food.

Veggies is always healthier of course. But problem is that saying "fast food " is reffered to burgers and hot dogs. I think fast food is every meal that can be prepared fast.

    look at this fast food:

It is delicious and healthy. It is chicken and veggies in tortilla.

Well, healthy food is better, but as with everything I have to say the lines blur. Sometimes you get packaged salads, which although not the healthiest are still better than fried dough foods. And sometimes cooking with a dirty oven can be healthy oven. I read it in an article called "How often should I clean my oven?". In these terms, I have to say I'm all for fresh greens and fresh meat, but there is a situational moment.

According to me, Vegetables is healthy rather than fast food because we can increase immune system through vegetables where as fast food helps to reduce belly fat.
