Hello,
If you use a citrus juice in a cake batter, can you use baking powder or baking soda? Now, I know this wouldn't be the case with a pound cake because the eggs are the leavening agent.
But If I'm making a layer cake, what are the recipe? Any tips?

Both baking soda and baking powder are leavening agents, which means they are added to baked goods before cooking to produce carbon dioxide and cause them to 'rise'. Baking powder contains baking soda, but the two substances are used under different conditions.

I generally use baking soda for cookies and baking powder for cakes. Some recipes will call for both, there are a ton of great cake recipes online if you search the type of cake you would like to make I am sure you will find plenty of options.
