Default Slimming Supplements for a Sluggish Metabolism

I read a great article in Womans Day magazine a few weeks ago about how to kick start a sluggish metabolism with supplements. (Check first with your doctor before you start these supplements. Some are higher than RDA)

MULTI-VITAMIN- (1 daily ) Well-nourished bodies are simply more likely to operate at peak efficiency; Swedish researchers have linked a daily multi. to a 4% higher metabolism.

CALCIUM- (300-500mg twice daily) There's mounds of evidence that calcium increases fat burning by up to 70%. It also protects bones & may prevent some types of cancer.

FISH OIL- (2g-3g twice daily) New studies prove fish oil boosts weight loss by up to 35%. Fish oil leads to increased fat burning and it also improves skin's elasticity and collagen production.

MAGNESIUM- (200mg-400mg twice daily) For calcium to do its job, you need magnesium and since we're more likely to be deficient in this nutrient, magnesium supplements are critical.
