Default What is your most important utensil?

What is your most important cooking utensil in your kitchen that you could not live without?

Being an amateur but slowing having to scrub up and start cooking lol as now a married woman and planning a family - we are building our house and I have promised to fit the kitchen so I can cook - can anyone tell me their most prized cooking utensil?

I guess my kitchen knife is my most precious tool. Actually, I have a set of knives depending on what to cut and what cut is needed.
