Does anyone own one of these? Any suggestions of what type of cookwear is best for a smooth top electric range? I am trying to decide if it is something I should buy, unless someone has a better suggestion? They just look so classy and look way esy to clean. any input thanks in advance.

They do not use much non stick in professional kitchens...and never forget that woks in chinese restaurants are rarely washed they are merely wiped out and off they go again....

While non-stick is great for easy clean-up, they are not as durable, nor do they impart that extra bit of flavor that comes with fond that you get from cast iron or stainless steel cookware. I am partial to vintage cast iron cookware and do about 90% of my cooking in them. The other cooking is done in stainless steel cookware with the exception of a non-stick electric griddle that my wife prefers to my cast iron griddle for making pancakes.

I think nonstick is nice but the types of nonstick surface is somewhat to concern. It's about food safety.
I rather prefer stainless cookware for this point.
Anyway, I suggest everyone having a quality nonstick pan. It's very useful.

You should go with Non-stick Cookware.
Now a days, This is a very rapid change and more important is very nice change in the cook ware. Non stick cook ware is very important to these days.

Some metals are better heat conductors than others. For instance, copper is a particularly good heat conductor whereas stainless steel is not. What this means in terms of cookware is that the better the heat conductivity the better and the more evenly your food will cook. It also means that when you turn the heat up or down the copper cookware will react a lot quicker to the temperature change than stainless steel cookware.
