Sorry, but I have to disagree and I definitely don't suggest anyone use any of these BMI calculators. They don't take into consideration things like bone density, muscle mass, etc. A person with a healthy, muscular build would come out with a "morbidly obese" BMI. It's better to just trust yourself and listen to your body, there's no need for things like this. Do you FEEL healthy? Do you die of exhaustion from walking up the stairs? It's not rocket science. ;D

Yeah...I agree with you. One of my friends is very fit and she's slender but very muscluar. She's about 140lbs and only 5 and it says that she's really overweight but she's only a size 6. Those aren't great calculators...they are good for a guideline but not for everything.

I hit the treadmill after I was told my BMI by a very helpful person at the gym. Three months and a lot of effort, there's been no difference. It must be good bone density and increased muscle mass.

The only good way to keep track of your weight/fat levels is to get measured by a nutritionist or other health care professional. BMI works fine for the majority of people, but it doesn't work for everyone.

no need of healthy calculators like that , what we need is to cook it neatly.
